Most weekends, you can find The Contained Farmer at the N.C. State Farmer's Market in Raleigh. You can select from samples of contained gardens currently in inventory or discuss your design plans. On busier months, I might be under the big trees out front instead of in building. Here's the schedule for the next month (please note that bad weather may delay/cancel saturday times):

February's Monthly Tip Can you imagine how messed up that groundhog's gonna be this February? He'll need a few bodyguards if he thinks they'll be six more weeks of winter, when we've probably had only six days so far. Yes, it's still too early to inflate the kiddie pool; it too early to cut back your perennials for spring (even though some hardy ones may be shooting). But on average, we've turned the corner on the most severe temps. With a little caution, you could plant some early spring veggies like spinach, peas, onions, and radishes along with any of the cole (Brassica) family. They'll keep early daffodils company!
